As founder and CEO of Fair Supply, Kimberly is an experienced and innovative human rights advocate specialising in modern slavery. Kimberly has over 15 years experience working in law and human rights for top tier firms in Australia and the United States, previously holding the role of Senior Director of Corporate and Legal for International Justice Mission Australia. Kimberly is a sought-after expert and speaker in the field of modern slavery and has been called upon to provide evidence for both the NSW and Commonwealth Parliamentary Inquiries into Human Trafficking. Kim received her Bachelor of Law from Macquarie University.

Dr Arne Geschke is the Chief Technology Officer and contributes over ten years of experience working in in-depth supply-chain assessment and economic modelling. Arne is a leading expert in the field of large-scale global environmental-economic supply-chain assessments and input-output analysis with a focus on environmental applications such as carbon accounting and energy policy. He has been instrumental in developing detailed global supply-chain databases and Fair Supply’s underlying mathematical framework. He previously worked for BMW and GM in mathematical engine simulation before beginning his academic career in Australia. Having developed his skill set in the academic and professional worlds alike, Arne bridges the gap between cutting-edge methodological advancements in supply-chain analysis and applicability in an enterprise environment. Arne holds a PhD in Environmental Impact Analysis and Economic Modelling from The University of Sydney, prior to which he completed a Master of Industrial Mathematics at the University of Hamburg, Germany and the University of Bath, UK.

Melinda has worked across operations and governance focussed roles for the past 15 years. Melinda led operations for the Australian chapter of International Justice Mission, the world’s largest anti-slavery organisation, and has worked in governance, operations and EDI strategy at University of New South Wales (UNSW). Melinda also led projects at SupplyNation, the peak body supporting Australian-based corporations to improve supplier diversity and operationalise their social impact commitments through increasing procurement with Indigenous businesses. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Business in International Business from Queensland University of Technology.

While a relative newcomer to ESG, Ben has nearly 20 years of experience building startups and products loved by people and organisations around the globe in a broad range of industries. As partner at independent design consultancy Future Friendly (formerly Mentally Friendly) he led the product strategy on a number of initiatives for purpose led customers like The Guardian, helping launch their community journalism platform ‘Witness’. From there he has led product & design teams at growth SaaS organisations such as Campaign Monitor and Help Scout. Most recently Ben was VP of Product at Australian startup success story A Cloud Guru which was acquired by US Enterprise Ed-Tech platform Pluralsight and has since gone on to lead the Cloud, Cybersecurity and Data technology & content teams across the globe as Senior Vice-President of Domains. Along the way Ben has co-founded a number of startups, been a contributor, supporter, investor and advisor to a number of Australian startups and communities. He’s been running global teams from Australia since before it was cool, and is a massive proponent of remote teams and the future of work.

Gayle is a finance and operations professional, bringing over 20 years of experience to FairSupply. She has been involved in financial management, business development, risk and compliance, technology, human resources and new product development. Gayle was Associate Director in Business Management for Macquarie Securities prior to joining FairSupply. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Edinburgh, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. She also holds a First Class Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde.

Amanda is an environmental scientist with over 30 years’ experience in the corporate world. Her PhD researched the impact of global consumption on biodiversity loss. Her career ‘before research’ included 25 years at Procter & Gamble where she held leadership roles across Sales and HR, based in Sydney and Singapore. Her business acumen and expertise in governance, organisational effectiveness, and culture change supported multiple business units through times of significant change. She returned to university studies to follow her passion for nature conservation and now enjoys connecting that passion back into the corporate world. Amanda attained a Master of Sustainability and her PhD from the University of Sydney.

From tweaking go-to-market strategies to fine-tuning customer voices, Denvinl has spent over a decade making sure tech serves humans, not the other way around. With experience spanning supply chain, SaaS and blockchain, she knows that the secret sauce to any successful initiative is understanding customer needs—something she champions relentlessly. Before she joined forces with the Fair Supply team, Denvinl led a decentralised stablecoin protocol and launched several blockchain initiatives where her drive to bolster transparency and accessibility shone as brightly as her love for tech. Rewinding further back, Denvinl championed customer advocacy and product marketing at Thryv, a leading SMB SaaS platform, and EBOS Group, Australasia’s largest medical and pharmaceutical group. Beyond the metrics and strategic plays, Denvinl is fueled by a vision to employ technology for a more sustainable, efficient and responsible world. Her vision extends far beyond the immediate impact of her projects, aiming to create lasting change through innovative tech solutions.

Laurence has project management experience assisting companies to achieve best practice on their sustainability journeys, and with corporates social responsibility. He specialises in sustainability and ESG strategy, materiality, framework alignment, and public market disclosures. Laurence has cultivated long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. He has developed targeted sales strategies, consistently delivering revenue growth and collaborating with cross-functional teams to tailor comprehensive solutions. His experience includes identifying and addressing gaps in ESG practices, leading educational sessions, and delivering customised reports on investor ESG trends. He has advised and executed materiality assessments for ASX200 companies, performed gap analysis across ESG frameworks, and coordinated with stakeholders to establish group strategy and direction. Laurence has project managed the development of sustainability reports and disclosures in line with GRI, TCFD, and SASB frameworks. In his previous role in the sustainable packaging industry, he oversaw ESG projects across various sectors and conducted supply chain carbon emission inventories for the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). He has also helped global brands such as Diageo and Pernod Ricard manage supply chain risks through the Social Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX).

Sophie is an Associate Lawyer who supports our clients in their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act and governance of human rights issues. She is passionate about human rights and affecting corporate change. Prior to FairSupply she worked in corporate asset ownership and family law, giving her experience in complex negotiations, litigation, and court matters. Sophie’s commitment to achieving the best outcome for her clients is supported by her experience liaising with diverse stakeholders and multi-disciplinary experts. She holds a Bachelor’s of Law with distinction from University of NSW and is a member of the NSW Law Society.

Jessie Lin is an ESG Data Analyst who is passionate about supporting her clients to strengthen their sustainable and ethical business practices. Having previously worked at one of the Big 4, she has experience working with a wide range of clients across various industries to assess their ESG needs and provide tailored solutions. Jessie’s client-centric approach is informed by her well-rounded experience in climate, biodiversity, and modern slavery research, big data analysis, and preparation of modern slavery statements. Jessie has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, Ecology, and Biodiversity from Victoria University of Wellington, and a Master of Marine Science and Management from the University of Sydney.

Julio is a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in project management and innovative data processing. Before moving to Australia, Julio was CEO of UDD, a business accelerator in Chile, co-founder of Neurpenta, a business processes consultancy, and has also consulted for several countries in South America. He has a Master in Complex Systems from the University of Sydney, and Master in Information Technology and Business Engineering from the University of Chile.

Dr Mandy Yu is an experienced data analyst specialising in sustainability and ESG assessments. Having worked in both public and private sectors, Mandy has the capability of applying cutting-edge methodological advancements to analyse and solve real-world problems. Prior to FairSupply, Mandy worked as a Climate Change Policy Analyst at the UNDP. During her PhD, Mandy developed a hybrid approach combining life cycle assessment and input-output analysis to provide comprehensive and detailed sustainability assessments for a wide range of products, activities, entities and industries. Mandy attained a PhD in Environmental Engineering at UNSW Sydney and studied a Masters in Environmental Engineering and Industrial Ecology at The University of Hong Kong, HK SAR and Leiden University, The Netherlands respectively.

David is a software engineer who brings more than a decade of experience working in diverse sectors from university research, healthcare solutions, online education platform, mining operations and supply chain optimization. As a member of our software team he is responsible for building our app to deliver results for our partners and clients. David is an experienced full stack software engineer. His expertise includes web technologies (javascript, node, npm), python, shell scripts, and has previously worked with Java and Microsoft tech (.NET, SQL Server, WinForms, WPF). David has a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering with first class honours from the University of Melbourne.

Melvin is a seasoned software developer with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex software solutions. His expertise spans a wide range of programming languages and development frameworks, and is always eager to learn new technologies to stay on the cutting edge of the industry. His expertise in programming languages and development frameworks specifically in web programming has enabled him to create robust and reliable web based software solutions. For the past 7 years, he has been working in Monash University eResearch Centre, providing in-house software solutions to manage storage data and other cloud resources for students and researcher fellows. Melvin has been instrumental in streamlining the storage provisioning and retrieval of research data, enabling researchers to work more efficiently and effectively and have a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing research communities. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Computing and a Masters in Information Management and Systems from Monash University. He enjoys exploring new software and web technologies and tinkering around with various tech gadgets. He is also an avid cyclist and has been cycling for commute and recreation in the last 4 years to stay healthy.

Marlene is a seasoned civil computer engineer with over 15 years of experience in the field of databases and business intelligence. She started her career at some of the most prestigious banks in Chile, where she worked on several projects involving transactional data analysis. Throughout her career, Marlene has gained extensive experience in data mining and project management, and has successfully managed several projects. Marlene holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Engineering from the Catholic University of Maule, Chile.

Kate recently returned to Australia after a 10-year stint in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally an international legal policy advisor on transnational crime for the Australian Attorney-General's Department, she went on to pass the California Bar Exam and then worked as an attorney in a startup-focused law firm with an emphasis on data privacy. She has worked at the intersection of law, tech and policy in private practice, with a digital rights organisation, and with the Stanford Center for Internet and Society. Kate has also previously worked for the ILO. Now that she calls the Gold Coast home, in her spare time, Kate likes to bike, read cookbooks and would one day like to work out how to stand up paddle surf.

Daniel is our Chief Engineer and contributes over a decade of professional experience as a software engineer leading the development and delivery of a number of projects across academic, government, and health sectors. His career started in parallel computing, performing compute intensive tasks with graphical processing units and HPCs. He then developed solutions for CRCs across Australia and critical health systems for cancer, diabetes, and tuberculosis patients at Australia’s leading hospitals. He was introduced to input-output analysis at UNSW and has now developed a SaaS platform that solves the complex challenges of a global supply chain. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Gaming and Programming from RMIT.

Amy brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the consulting team, having previously worked for International Justice Mission and has completed a Masters Degree in Gender Studies and Global Development at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

Tanya is a Customer Success Manager who supports our customers getting the most out of Fair Supply services. Prior to joining Fair Supply, Tanya spent 7 years helping run communities of happy customers across Education, Accommodation and Fintech. Although Tanya's bachelor's degrees are in Psychology and Criminology, she has developed a passion for data and is now completing her Master of Data Science with University of Adelaide. When she is not studying, Tanya can be found exploring new trails or coffee spots with her husband and dog.

Sandy is a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in application development and data analysis. Sandy has considerable skill in agile software delivery and iteration management. As a consultant developer and data scientist at Thoughtworks, he built apps and cloud services for clients across many domains — including retail, superannuation, fintech, mining, and renewable energy. Standout achievements include the delivery of a complete modern data platform for a major retailer and an award-winning 3D architectural visualisation app. Within Thoughtworks, he became renowned for meticulous software design and insightful tweaks to established engineering practices. He also has tremendous depth in the design and delivery of data analysis tools. At the Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing (VPAC), Sandy led development of sophisticated engineering tools and web apps: novel physics solvers, ML material analysis models, a continent-scale satellite image processing system, and a comprehensive survey tool for utility management, to name a few. He has a keen focus on security and engineering practices, and is passionate about building apps with good user experiences. Sandy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the Australian National University, and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Media from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
